About this role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Deployment Manager with 4–8 years of experience to help build Retell AI's deployment function from the ground up. This is a high-ownership IC role at one of the fastest-growing voice AI companies in the world — you'll work directly with enterprise and scaled customers to identify where AI can drive the most impact and lead those opportunities all the way to production. If you thrive in ambiguity, love working with senior stakeholders, and want to shape a function that doesn't have a playbook yet, this is your role.

What will you be doing?

Partner with enterprise and scaled customers to scope AI opportunities, build business cases, and define ROI-driven roadmaps

Lead strategic customer engagements end-to-end — from discovery through deployment and expansion

Work in pods alongside Forward Deployed Engineers to push deployments across the finish line

Interface directly with C-suite stakeholders at customer organizations as a trusted advisor

Help build the deployment playbook from scratch — processes, frameworks, and best practices don't exist yet

Key Requirements

Background in MBB or Big 4 consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain preferred; Deloitte, PwC, Accenture acceptable) at senior analyst level or above

Executive-level communication skills — must be able to credibly hold conversations with and present to C-suite stakeholders

Ability to build business cases and ROI models; strong structured problem-solving and product thinking (0-to-1)

Comfortable with high ambiguity and building a new function without an existing playbook

Located in or willing to relocate to SF Bay Area or NYC (on-site, 5 days/week) and comfortable with up to 50% travel
