Role
We are looking for a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team. This is a Hybrid (San Jose, 3 days a week) role or Remote role, reporting to the Cloud Operations Manager in the REIS (Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure Services) department. The Technical Program Management team within the Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure Services (REIS) organization is seeking an experienced, highly technical Project / Program Manager to lead complex, internal infrastructure and services initiatives, large-scale Data Center (DC) migrations, and building new cloud environments.
Operating within our cross-functional program management organization, this position functions primarily as an internally-facing, hands-on Technical Project Manager (explicitly distinct from Product Management) responsible for orchestrating cross-functional technical projects across various teams for our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a deep technical foundation in server, network, data center operations, building new clouds, and DC migration execution paired with proven hands-on project management expertise.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Drive end-to-end project management and execution of complex, internal infrastructure, new cloud builds, Data Center (DC) migrations, and cloud services programs/projects—defining project charters, detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables, and tracking execution through to closure
- Partner closely with internal technical teams—including system engineers, infrastructure architects, cloud operations, security, and engineering leads—to ensure seamless project execution and internal stakeholder alignment
- Establish robust project/program management frameworks, project management playbooks, continuous process improvement initiatives, and operational documentation to elevate execution rigor across REIS projects
- Drive proactive risk management, technical dependency tracking, and executive governance across REIS programs—identifying critical blockers early, establishing mitigation plans, and communicating strategic progress to leadership
- Maintain high data integrity across internal operational platforms and PM tools (Jira, Confluence, dashboards, and spreadsheets) to drive transparent, data-informed program decisions
Who You Are (Success Profile)
- You thrive in ambiguity and feel comfortable building the path as you walk it, viewing a dynamic environment not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner with a passion for the mission that fuels your bias for action, operating with integrity and navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- You are a high-trust collaborator who is ambitious for the team, embracing ongoing feedback with candor, clarity, and respect as the truest form of teamwork.
- You are a positive force who approaches hard problems with contagious, constructive energy and a can-do spirit that inspires your team to stay focused on solutions.
- You champion simplicity by distilling complex technical concepts, user needs, and operational challenges into clear, actionable plans and precise communication.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
- Demonstrated proficiency utilizing operational information systems and PM tools (spreadsheets, dashboards, Jira, Confluence)
- 10+ years of hands-on technical project and program management experience within cloud operations, networking, infrastructure, data center operations, building new cloud footprints, or DC migration initiatives in a SaaS/cloud environment
- Proven hands-on technical project management background working directly with internal infrastructure, servers, networking, and cloud services engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience driving internal-facing cross-functional projects, new cloud deployment initiatives, data center migrations, and infrastructure programs across system engineering, support, product management, and cloud operations
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) certification
- Hands-on experience leading multi-phase Data Center (DC) migrations, building new cloud infrastructure/footprints, hardware refresh, or cloud migration programs
- Working knowledge and/or understanding of ISO 27001, FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, or related federal compliance standards
