Position Overview
A Senior Veterinary Assistant is an experienced animal-care professional who supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians in caring for animals and keeping the clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Position Highlights:- Assist with spay/neuter surgeries and primary pet care
- Support patient monitoring, animal handling, and client communication
- Work directly in underserved communities across NYC
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of professional animal handling experience
- Veterinary experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be willing to drive ASPCA mobile clinics (training provided)
- Spanish bilingual candidates strongly preferred
Pay Range
