About this role

Wood is currently looking for Quality Lead to coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities for a Oil & Gas and Chemical projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations throughout engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.

The Quality Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing project quality systems and inspection activities to support the successful delivery of project. Ensuring quality requirements are implemented across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities, while supporting client, contractor, and vendor interfaces. Provides leadership to quality personnel and drives continual improvement, compliance, and successful project turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, Implement and maintain project quality management plans, procedures, and inspection requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, regulatory requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Coordinate quality activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor quality performance, including audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
  • Monitor and report quality performance, non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality KPIs.
  • Interface with clients, fabrication yards, vendors, and project management on all quality-related matters.
  • Support inspection and test plan (ITP) development, quality documentation reviews, and turnover dossiers.
  • Lead internal and external audits and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support mechanical completion, system completion, commissioning, and handover activities

Qualifications
