About this role
I'm hiring a Business Development Manager on behalf of a fast-growing business lender expanding into Poland. They provide SMEs with fast, flexible funding. You'd be early in the Krakow office, owning net-new revenue generation from day one.
Location: Krakow, on-site (4 days/week)
Type: Full-time
Salary range: PLN 150,000 - PLN 200,000
What you'll actually do:
- Identify and close new B2B partnerships and direct lending opportunities with Polish SMEs
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation to close
- Build relationships with key partners and clients in the Polish SME finance ecosystem
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and product to drive revenue
Requirements:
- Current or recent title: Business Development Manager, Partnerships Manager, or similar B2B sales role
- Verifiable track record of closing B2B deals - quota attainment or revenue metrics on your profile
- Based in or willing to commute to Krakow for on-site work (4 days/week)
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Experience generating net-new business (not exclusively managing existing accounts)
How I screen CVs - 5 criteria I scan for:
1. Title matches BDM, Partnerships Manager, or similar B2B sales role
2. Verifiable B2B deal-closing track record (quotas or revenue figures on profile)
3. Located in or near Krakow / willing to be on-site 4 days/week
4. English + Polish on profile
5. Evidence of net-new business generation (not just account management)
EU AI Act disclaimer:
I use an AI Co-Pilot built into our ATS (Teamtailor) to help screen applications. It does one thing: highlights whether your CV matches the 5 screening criteria above. It makes no hiring decisions - I review every flagged profile myself. By applying, you acknowledge this automated processing is limited to screening against those 5 predefined, human-set criteria.
