ABOUT THE POSITION
At Black Shamrock - A Virtuos Studio, we are searching for a Recruitment & Operations Administrator on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis to bolster our General Administration Team – Recruitment, HR, Finance & Office Management. This role will be primarily office-based and would be the ideal platform for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment within a creative industry. The successful candidate will gain experience in a full suite of General Administration functions as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from an international team of highly skilled professionals. This position would suit an ambitious person with keen communication and organisational skills who wishes to take their first or next steps in the highly rewarding gaming industry as part of a people orientated company.
Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of recruitment including posting jobs, meeting with hiring managers, reviewing resumes, scheduling and coordination of interviews, with a particular emphasis on the ongoing sourcing of new candidates for positions across all departments.
Take a creative and results-driven approach to recruiting, developing, and improving our sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.
Partner with Hiring Managers to understand current and future needs as well as educating on interview best practices and people development.
Supporting administrative tasks relating to the recruitment of key talent and new hire onboarding/induction.
Strengthen our employer brand by providing an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience, as well as assisting with ongoing holistic employer branding efforts such as attending events, posting on social media, etc.
Participate in ongoing HR-related projects, such as ongoing employee engagement initiatives, company events, educational outreach and charity-related efforts through our local Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
Assist in maintaining and updating employee records.
Promote and participate with the activities of the Studio’s Compliance function.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the office and help with maintaining office equipment.
Maintain an engaging office environment while adhering to all health and safety standards.
Participate the planning, organising and running of company events.
Ensure that office supplies and logistics are taken care of by supporting the Office Administrator.
Assist with the processing of invoices and various activities as part of periodic financial cycles.
Participate in administrative or office related projects, offering support where needed.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
Relevant experience and/or qualifications in any of Human Resources, Business, Law, Marketing, Administration, Event Management, People Management, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
Fluent spoken and written English is needed for this position, but fluency and familiarity with additional languages are an advantage.
A passion for gaming and an interest in the games industry.
