What you'll need
- 5+ years' experience working with IP-based Military SATCOM systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, document troubleshooting steps, and plan maintenance activities
- Working knowledge of Ku/Ka-band RF equipment, Antenna Control Units (ACU), High Power Amplifiers (HPA), Uplink Power Control (UPC), tracking antennas, standard test equipment and communications theory
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and server virtualization technologies, as well as IP networking and equipment, including configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, security appliances, and traffic shapers
- Ability to communicate technical topics to a both technical and non-technical audiences, via written or verbal presentation
- Flexibility to work shifts in a 24x7 setting, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, etc.) or attainable within 6 months of employment
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 30% CONUS and OCONUS

Salary range
$98,000.00 - $155,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $121,500.00- $182,500.00/ annually
