Key Responsibilities

A. Marketing Strategy & Leadership - Customer Centric GTM-wise

  • Develop the annual India Marketing Strategy aligned with Vertiv’s business objectives and the specific goals of the 8 Revenue PODs (Hyperscale, Colocation, Neo Cloud, Enterprise, Communications Network, C&I, Channel/Alliances, and Consultants).
  • Partner with POD leaders (Sales and Solutions leads) to translate business priorities into integrated GTM plans for critical digital infrastructure verticals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the India leadership team, providing market intelligence to support the goal.

B. POD-Based Demand Generation & ABM

  • Lead the "Strategic Growth Engine" by generating a measurable marketing contribution to the sales pipeline (targeting 12% or higher).
  • Execute high-touch Account-Based Marketing (ABM) for priority 1:1 and 1:Few accounts within the POD framework (e.g., AWS, NTT, STT GDC).
  • Orchestrate demand-generation programs across the buying journey, utilizing digital nurture campaigns and interactive tools like ROI calculators.

C. Technology & Thought Leadership

  • Establish Vertiv as a co-innovation partner in the AI and data center ecosystem.
  • Drive narrative-led thought leadership around key AI imperatives: Unit of Compute, High-Density Computing, Liquid Cooling, and Transition to 800VDC.
  • Own the strategic events calendar, including Vertiv Masterclasses, AI Solution Roadshows, and Executive Briefing Connects (EBCs).

D. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Maintain a monthly interlock and MBR (Monthly Business Review) reporting cadence with POD stakeholders to ensure alignment on pipeline and engagement targets.
  • Leverage Global Marketing COEs and emerging AI tools to improve marketing effectiveness and dashboard reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performance team that is commercially focused and execution oriented.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success will be measured through the following POD-aligned metrics:

  • Marketing Contribution to Pipeline: New generated sourced and influenced pipeline as a % of total generated pipeline (Target: ~12%).
  • Named Account Engagement: % of unique accounts engaged within each POD (Target: 60%+).
  • Brand Impact Score: Measure of influence, awareness, and share of voice (SOV).
  • Campaign & Event ROI: Effectiveness of POD-specific initiatives like "The 1GW Frontier" or "Energy Autonomy".

4. Leadership Attributes & Competencies

  • Commercially Minded: Deep understanding of marketing's role in revenue growth and sales enablement.
  • Technology Savvy: Ability to communicate complex value propositions like Digital Twins and HVDC architectures.
  • Matrix Influence: Capability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Global teams in a matrixed Revenue POD environment.
  • Strategic Execution: Converting high-level strategy into measurable, segment-specific outcomes.
