About this role

The Department of OtorhinolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a Comprehensive Otolaryngologist. The ideal candidate will have the skill set to manage the full spectrum of comprehensive ENT services. Interest in sleep, general Peds ENT, endocrine, laryngology, and/or otolaryngic allergy is desirable, but not required. Clinical time will primarily focus on our community practice at Charles Regional location and may include clinical support at other locations that advance our strategic clinical priorities.



Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology and will have completed training in OtorhinolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery with eligibility for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.  This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting. 

Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience. 

Expected Compensation Range: $353,869 to $630,000, depending on rank and experience. 

The referenced compensation range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.  This compensation range does not include all components of the department faculty compensation program or pay from participation in department variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the compensation range stated herein.
