Join us as a Payroll Specialist
The objective of this position is to accurately and efficiently complete Payroll and Expenses related tasks. The Payroll Specialist will also provide administrative support for the benefits and pension schemes and contribute to the smooth running of the overall Payroll & Expenses Department within Three.
What else it involves:
- Accurately process monthly payrolls in accordance with Revenue, Taxation and internal policy guidelines.
- Process payroll-related data on the Oracle payroll system in line with agreed processes and deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality when entering and processing payroll data.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly and quarterly commission payments, including updating target plans, processes and staff details where required.
- Provide payroll information and support to the Payroll Manager as required, including preparation of data for audits.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly employee expense payments, in line with current company policies.
- Provide administrative support in the day-to-day management of benefit providers, including Healthcare, Pension and Company Cars, and assist with related reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly finance reporting and provide required payroll and expenses information for actual vs budget reporting.
- Respond to employee queries relating to payroll, expenses and benefits, providing accurate and helpful information by email, telephone or in person.
- Follow established payroll processes and procedures and identify and raise any issues or discrepancies with the relevant team member.
- Support the wider Payroll & Expenses team with ad-hoc tasks and activities as required.
The skills we’re looking for:
- Substantial experience of working in a high-volume payroll environment.
- Experience using Oracle Payroll would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Good team working and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and work to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- IPASS Qualification.
