About you 👤

  • Strong understanding of the Republic of Ireland healthcare system, including HSE structures, reimbursement processes and market access pathways.

  • Proven ability to identify, engage and influence key stakeholders, clinical leaders and healthcare decision-makers.

  • Experienced in communicating complex clinical, scientific and health economic data to diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of Women's Health is desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated market access strategies and plans.

  • Skilled at building relationships and delivering outcomes through both virtual and face-to-face customer engagement.

  • Degree educated (or equivalent experience).

  • Solid understanding of the IPHA Code of Practice and its application within the Republic of Ireland pharmaceutical environment.

  • Strong networking, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital business tools.

  • Full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.


About the role 🧭

To develop and execute local market access strategies across the assigned territory by building trusted partnerships with healthcare decision-makers across the Republic of Ireland, identifying and addressing barriers to patient access, supporting national, regional and local access activities including reimbursement and implementation processes for Theramex medicines in line with local healthcare priorities working within the IPHA Code of Practice.


Key Duties and Responsibilities 📌

  • Develop and lead the market access strategy across the Republic of Ireland to support patient access to Theramex therapies.

  • Identify access opportunities and barriers, delivering evidence-based solutions through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyse healthcare decision-making structures, formulary processes, treatment pathways and commissioning frameworks to inform access strategies.

  • Generate and share payer, stakeholder and market insights to support business planning and access objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including HSE representatives, hospital pharmacists, commissioners, medicines optimisation teams and healthcare professionals.

  • Engage clinical leaders, advocates and key opinion leaders to gain insights into unmet patient needs and local treatment pathways.

  • Facilitate scientific and healthcare system discussions that support the adoption and implementation of innovative therapies.

  • Establish long-term partnerships focused on improving patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiency.

  • Support market access activities for new product launches, ensuring effective local implementation and uptake.

  • Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Compliance and Global Market Access teams to deliver integrated customer engagement plans.

  • Contribute local market intelligence and stakeholder insights to support evidence generation, access planning and business strategy.

  • Represent Theramex professionally and credibly within the Irish healthcare environment.

  • Conduct both promotional and non-promotional customer engagement activities in full compliance with the IPHA Code and company policies, maintaining a clear distinction between each activity type.
