Webb Wheel Products is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Inspector A to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the quality of finished goods by checking and measuring all critical specifications for accuracy. You will also visually inspect parts for foundry defects and machining errors to ensure only the highest quality products reach our customers.

This position is for 3rd shift: Sun.-Wed. 11p-7a. The position starts at $26.39 plus an additional $1 for shift differential.

Essential Functions
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Technical Measurements: Check pilot and bore, concentricity, hardness, hole location, and size.
  • Layouts & Reporting: Complete a quality layout for each setup and each part per day, and prepare accurate daily inspection reports.
  • Equipment Operation: Maintain general knowledge of all job-related machinery, equipment, and work instructions. Operate a forklift to safely move finished goods.
  • Production Support: Identify and pull parts needing balancing, sending them to the balance machines.
  • Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean and safe work environment while strictly adhering to all company safety procedures.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned by leadership.
Position Qualifications & Competencies
  • Technical Tooling: Ability to accurately read micrometers, gauges, and blueprints.
  • Core Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude paired with basic math and computer skills.
  • Safety Mindset: Commitment to following safety protocols in a fast-paced CNC machining environment.
Experience Requirements
  • Years of Experience: 0 to 1 year of inspection experience.
  • Preferred Background: Prior experience in manufacturing, CNC environments, and blueprint reading is highly preferred. Training will be provided for candidates with the right foundational skills.
