About this role
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available, resilient middleware platforms.
- Prepare and maintain middleware standard designs and configurations.
- Define non-functional testing strategies (performance, availability, security).
- Analyze transaction volumes, throughput, and response times to optimize platform performance.
- Troubleshoot middleware configuration and performance issues.
- Review system resource utilization and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support regional platform initiatives such as ESB, integration, and data platforms.
- Work closely with architecture, infrastructure, and application teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Middleware technologies such as:
- JBoss
- IBM MQ
- Strong knowledge of:
- Application Servers
- Web Servers
- Database Servers
- Linux/Windows Platforms
- Networking fundamentals
- Virtualization
Optional Skills:
- Power shell Scripts.
- SQL DB Maintenance.
- Monitoring and analytics tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or Power BI.
Preferred Experience
- Middleware installation, configuration, and patching.
- IBM MQ queue/channel administration.
- SSL certificate management.
- Application deployment and troubleshooting.
Personal Requirements:
- Should have good written and verbal communication.
- Good problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
Education level:
- Bachelor’s degree in computing or relevant field
Experience:
- 5-10 years of relevant working experience
