Key Responsibilities
Production Troubleshooting & Fixes
- Investigate and resolve production incidents directly — reading logs, tracing code, running diagnostic SQL queries, and reproducing issues
- Debug and patch SAS 9.4 scripts, Python scripts, and Node.js applications when incidents trace back to code or job failures
- Write and run SQL queries (MSSQL/PostgreSQL) to diagnose data issues, locate root causes, and validate fixes
- Generate and write code for new scope
- Senior stakeholder management, with both technical and business teams
- Change request assessment and efforts estimation
- SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Visual Analytics, Enterprise Guide, SAS Viya jobs troubleshooting, enhancement and development
- Defects management, investigation and fixes
- Liaise with SAS Technical Support
