About this role

Job Summary

 

The Facility Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of interior and exterior building surfaces. This role performs painting, surface preparation, touch-up work, and coating applications to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and visually appealing.
 
Shifts available: 

1st Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm
2nd Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm

 


Essential Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and cleaning
  • Apply paint, stains, primers, sealers, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
  • Clean up work area once project is finished
  • Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • Works on and completes all facility team-based goals
  • Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • 2+ years of commercial, industrial, or facility painting experience
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Strong attention to detail and worksmanship
