Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary
NOTE: This is a 8 Mo+ Assignment. Assesses, checks, and reports collected data in order to manage inventory. Analyzes inventory records. Interprets results of overall inventory. Compiles sales records and trends and evaluates performance measured against inventory budgets. Conducts statistical and financial analysis, and recommends levels of inventory required by production schedules and/or customer orders while minimizing inventory and carrying costs. Excludes paraprofessional positions.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes.
Oversee KPIs related to area and ensure team synergy.
Submit inventory reconciliation stock adjustment forms for all recommended inventory variances at 3rd party locations.
Analyze FIFO trends for 3rd party warehouses based on a combination of batch, spec and shelf-life criteria.
Place and monitor intercompany purchase orders for all shipments from Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela business units while notifying 3rd parties of shipments and providing all necessary paperwork accordingly.
Manage the direct intercompany order process for all sales orders shipping from Brazil and Mexico.
Ensure goods receipt and warehouse transfers with Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Planning to assure 3rd party inventory accuracy within 48 hours of delivery while maintaining proper documentation records and Oxus QC-Lab approval.
Monitor all OXUS aged inventory with approved shelf life and out-of-spec inventory to identify reduction opportunities.
Align material transformation through batch ticket management processes for all requested 3rd party packaging and tolling requests.
Identify situations in which cost savings can be optimized.
Analyze inventory transactions and prepare reports based on findings.
Coordinate with members of the Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to review financial information and forecasts.
Work with the Finance team to manage EOM accounting close periods and investigate inventory discrepancies exceeding approved tolerance levels.
Perform bi-annual physical inventory audits of all third-party locations in accordance with Finance controls and procedures.
Manage and optimize all processes under your responsibility while considering Quality, Legality, Food Safety (if applicable), and client needs related to Oxiteno products and services.
Ensure all documentation under your responsibility is current, maintained, and readily available for review.
Qualifications
Two years of experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics-related field.
Additional supply chain-related certifications are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, speak, and write English.
Ability to read, interpret, and create documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, and software manuals.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to speak and communicate effectively with customers.
Oracle ERP (or similar ERP) knowledge is a plus.
Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
