About this role

The Director is responsible for a portfolio of projects, project teams, and client relationships. This role drives execution, financial performance, staffing, operational excellence, and leadership development.  

  • Support general leadership of the assigned market  

  • Lead data center campus teams  

  • Provide hands on management support for individual projects  

  • Manage overall budgets and corresponding subcontractor/vendor/consultant budgets  

  • Manage overall schedules  

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.  

  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.  

  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.  

  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.  

  • Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.  

  • May perform Field Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.  

  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.  

  • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.  

  • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.  

  • Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.  

  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.  

  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.  

  • Complete other such duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by EverOn management.

  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

  • Conduct portfolio health assessments.  

  • Align resources across projects.  

  • Review project forecasts monthly.  

  • Manage contingency exposure.  

  • Drive change order recovery.  

  • Ensure profitability objectives are achieved.  

  • Build executive-level relationships.  

  • Resolve escalated client concerns.  

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions.  

  • Generate repeat business opportunities. 

  • Develop PMs and Superintendents.  

  • Identify future leaders.  

  • Conduct quarterly talent reviews.  

  • Create succession plans.  

  • Standardize processes.  

  • Implement lessons learned.  

  • Improve project controls.  

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
