Reports to: Service Manager
Purpose: Responsible for assisting the service manager with supporting customers and employees with
tasks including scheduling, customer communication, loading equipment, and perform any
additional duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner all while
adhering to safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

 Assist with the day-to-day operations of the service department
 Loading and unloading equipment (Driven and using a forklift)
 Schedule pick-up and deliveries with customers
 Call customers with repair estimates
 Stage equipment for delivery drivers.
 Help maintain a professional appearance of the grounds including equipment, parking
lot, and buildings.
 Demonstrate a constant commitment to customer service
 Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management
 Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
 Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
 Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products and wiliness to
learn new systems and processes.
QualificationsExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Efficiently managing multiple customers and
tasks
 Work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated
 Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
 Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment preferred.
 Experience with basic computer functions such as email, word and excel.
 Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
 Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates degree
preferred
 Valid drivers license required
