About this role

Join Suppli and help rebuild payments for the $1T+ distribution industry. You'll architect and build the systems that process millions of dollars in transactions daily, integrate with complex ERP systems, and leverage cutting-edge LLM technology to transform how distributors manage their revenue cycles.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll own product end-to-end — from customer signal through spec, ship, and measurement. We're an AI-native team where Cursor, Claude Code, and agentic workflows are part of the daily flow, not optional. We invest more in clarity (specs, decompositions, conventions) than in process around them. AI handles a growing share of the implementation; humans set the targets, make the calls, and own the outcomes.

You'll join a small team of A+ players where everyone is an individual contributor at the same level. We pair when stuck, review code thoroughly but kindly, and rise together. You'll work closely with our founder-led team — operators who previously ran a distribution business and understand the real-world problems we're solving.

What you'll own

High-volume payment processing systems and secure financial APIs

Deep integrations with major ERPs (NetSuite, Sage, Acumatica, etc.)

LLM-powered workflows: credit decisions, remittance matching, automated comms, dispute resolution

Real-time data pipelines handling millions of financial records

A/R and collections automation that directly impacts customer cash flow

Eval suites, observability, and guardrails that keep AI features safe in production

What we look for

Ships full-stack. Frontend, backend, schema, tests — handoffs aren't the model.

Treats specs as the product. Decomposition into clear, scoped, runnable work is the highest-leverage skill on this team.

AI in the daily flow. You don't wait for permission to use Cursor or Claude Code — you already do, and you push back when conventions need updating.

Talks to users. Not "reads tickets" — actually joins customer calls and reads support threads.

Owns past launch. If the customer experience around your work is broken, that's still on you.

What happens next
