Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Marketing Manager is responsible for translating the company's marketing strategy into actionable plans, campaigns, content, and initiatives that support organizational goals, business development efforts, recruiting initiatives, employee engagement, brand awareness, and corporate growth. This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, business development, human resources, and communications teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and successful execution of marketing initiatives across the organization.
Essential Functions

Translate marketing strategy into actionable plans, campaigns, and initiatives that support organizational goals.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing priorities with company objectives.
Ensure organizational brand standards are maintained across all internal and external communications.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of monthly employee communications, quarterly newsletters, and other corporate messaging initiatives.
Partner with Business Development and Operations teams to develop marketing materials that support pursuit, recruiting, and growth initiatives.
Coordinate development of project profiles, case studies, resumes, presentations, award submissions, and qualification materials.
Support marketing for conferences, industry associations, sponsorships, recruiting events, client events, and community engagement activities.
Help manage procurement and coordination of project and event photography and videography services.
Work with the Digital Asset Manager to ensure project and personnel data remain accurate, current, and accessible.
Support planning, promotion, logistics, and execution of company events, recruiting initiatives, community outreach activities, and industry conferences.
Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for leadership as needed.
Assist Marketing Director with daily tasks as needed.

Supervisory Requirements
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide direction to vendors, agencies, contractors, and external partners.
Work Environment
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and may occasionally require visits to project sites, company events, client events, or community functions. Appropriate personal protective equipment may be required when visiting active construction sites.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee regularly sits for long periods of time at a desk in front of a computer screen. The employee occasionally may be required to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support company events, recruiting activities, conferences, community outreach efforts, or project milestones.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required to support project-related marketing initiatives, company events, industry conferences, recruiting activities, and other business needs.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Marketing Manager or equivalent role.
Experience working with executives and C-suite leadership.
Experience managing multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience developing content from concept through production.
Experience managing photographers, videographers, agencies, and other creative vendors.
Understanding print and digital production processes.
Experience supporting business development, corporate communications, and brand awareness initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across operations and support functions.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience within the construction, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, or related AEC industry.
Experience supporting construction project pursuits, proposals, and award submittals.
Familiarity with construction terminology, project delivery methods, and infrastructure-related services.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.
Experience with OpenAsset.
Experience with Asana or similar project management software.
Familiarity with digital asset management systems, email marketing platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
