About this role
Requirements
What You'll Be Doing:
Own the full design lifecycle for one or more product areas - from discovery and problem framing through to shipped, production-quality UI.
Partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex workflows into intuitive, efficient experiences.
Lead user research, contextual inquiry, and usability testing to build a clear picture of provider and patient needs.
Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups that communicate design intent precisely.
Contribute to and help evolve Subscribili's design system - setting standards for component usage, interaction patterns, and accessibility compliance.
Identify and resolve design debt proactively, not just when asked.
Mentor junior designers and conduct structured design critiques that raise the quality of work across the team.
Collaborate with engineering on implementation, reviewing builds and flagging deviations from design intent before they ship.
Translate business requirements and clinical workflows into product experiences that are clean, compliant, and genuinely usable.
What We're Looking For:
6-8 years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership across complex product surfaces.
Deep expertise in Figma - including component architecture, auto-layout, variants, and prototyping.
Demonstrated experience designing for web applications and responsive experiences
Prior experience establishing or significantly contributing to a design system from the ground up.
Strong systems thinking - you design for scale and consistency, not one-off screens.
Hands-on experience conducting and synthesizing user research, not just handing it off to a researcher.
Working knowledge of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) - enough to have real conversations with engineers and understand technical constraints.
Clear, confident communicator who can present design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in B2B SaaS products, particularly multi-sided platforms with distinct user types (admins, end users, patients, etc.).
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving quickly without waiting for perfect information.
Bonus Points:
Experience designing for healthcare, dental, or fintech platforms - particularly around billing, subscriptions, or clinical workflows.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance considerations and how they intersect with UX decisions.
Experience with accessibility auditing and applying WCAG 2.1 AA standards in production environments.
Knowledge of motion design and micro-interaction tools (Lottie, Principle, After Effects).
