Position: Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer
Location: Nationwide - Work anywhere in the Canada
What Youโll Do:
- ๐ Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
- ๐ฐ๏ธ Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
- ๐ง Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
- ๐ก Configure and program satellite receivers
- ๐ ๏ธ Test and troubleshoot to ensure everythingโs working smoothly
- ๐ฌ Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
- ๐ Educate customers on using their new satellite systems
What You Need:
- ๐ก Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
- ๐ Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
- ๐ ๏ธ Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
- ๐งฉ Excellent problem-solving skills
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Great communication abilities
- ๐ค Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- ๐ ๏ธ Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus
