The Job:

As a Corporate Security Manager – Distribution Center & Corporate Offices, you’ll be part of our SBD Global Security team working as an on-site employee.

You’ll get to:

• Lead and coordinate Corporate Security operations and programs for the Cuautitlán Izcalli Distribution Center and Mexico City corporate offices, protecting employees, visitors, assets, facilities, and logistics operations.
• Conduct security risk assessments, physical security audits, and vulnerability analyses, identifying internal and external threats and driving mitigation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate the initial response, documentation, investigation, and escalation of security incidents, including preservation of information and evidence in accordance with corporate policies and applicable legislation.
• Manage electronic security systems and projects, including CCTV, monitoring, access control, alarms, and credential systems, identifying gaps and coordinating implementation, testing, maintenance, and improvements.
• Lead and oversee security, monitoring, guarding, and escort service providers, establishing operational controls, evaluating performance, and following up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate security controls related to imported goods, warehousing, shipments, receiving, vehicles, trailers, seals, carriers, logistics providers, and national distribution activities.
• Assess risks associated with national transportation routes and manage applicable security and escort measures for inbound and outbound movements, including follow-up on incidents, deviations, and operational exceptions.
• Manage the Corporate Security budget, develop financial justifications for projects, define technical security requirements, and coordinate procurement and contracting processes with Finance and Purchasing.
• Prepare security reports and KPIs, analyze incident and risk trends, and partner with EHS, Human Resources, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, and local leadership on security, crisis response, and business continuity initiatives.
• Coordinate security awareness, emergency response, executive visit and travel security activities, while maintaining appropriate communication with relevant authorities when required.

The Person:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree, preferably in Criminology, Law, Risk Management, Administration, Public Security, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Corporate Security, asset protection, physical security, or related environments, including at least 3 years in a similar managerial role.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting distribution centers, logistics operations, escort services, or similar environments, with demonstrated experience in risk assessments, audits, investigations, and incident management.
• Strong knowledge of physical and logistics security, CCTV, access control, monitoring, crisis management, business continuity, security providers, applicable Mexican security regulations, and preferably CTPAT.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, and availability to respond to security incidents outside regular working hours and travel occasionally as required.
