About the Role:
Sparkle grooming Co is looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love every day — working with dogs and making them look and feel their best. If you have a gentle touch, a keen eye for style, and a love for animals, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other finishing grooming services
- Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care and patience
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe grooming environment
- Communicate with pet owners about their dog's grooming needs and preferences and memberships
- Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns
- Must be able to learn and to communicate to the cleints the services Sparkle offers and dicuss prices and memberships
Requirements:
- Previous professional dog grooming experience preferred
- Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and safe handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a true animal lover
