About this role
We are currently hiring for industrial and commercial painters in Appleton, Green Bay, and Manitowoc, WI area for upcoming projects. The ideal painter candidate has at least 4 years experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting. Pay is $28 - $35 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Painter Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and blasting
- Remove contaminants and mask areas not requiring treatment
- Operate sandblasting equipment and select appropriate media
- Monitor equipment for effective performance.
- Apply coatings using various methods (spray, brush, roller)
- Ensure consistent finish and thickness
- Inspect work for quality compliance and perform touch-ups as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain equipment and working area
Painter Qualifications:
- Sandblasting experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with abrasive blasting equipment and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Your own reliable transportation
