About this role
Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring experienced Finish Carpenters for upcoming condominium projects in Wausau, WI. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of carpentry experience, with strong experience in finish and interior carpentry. Pay is $30–$35 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Finish Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Perform finish carpentry work on condominium construction projects
- Install baseboards, trim, molding, and other finish materials
- Install and adjust doors, door frames, and hardware
- Measure, cut, fit, and install wood and finish materials accurately
- Complete interior finishing and punch-list work
- Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and project specifications
- Ensure completed work meets quality standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors to keep projects on schedule
Finish Carpenter Qualifications:
- 3+ years of carpentry experience
- Previous finish carpentry experience required
- Experience working on residential, multifamily, or condominium projects preferred
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install finish materials
- Ability to read a tape measure and use standard carpentry tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have your own basic hand and power tools and PPE
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
