The ideal drywall hanger and finisher candidate has experience hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces as well as metal stud framing. Drywall Hanger and Finisher Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels securely on walls and ceilings
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall seams and surfaces for a smooth appearance
- Repair or replace damaged drywall and prepare surfaces for painting or finishing
- Install metal stud framing according to plans
- Collaborate with framing teams to ensure drywall installation aligns with framing
- Ensure quality standards are met for all drywall installation and finishing tasks
Drywall Hanger and Finisher Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience as a drywall hanger and finisher
- Experience with metal stud framing
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Your own tools and PPE
- Your own reliable transportation and valid REAL ID Driver's License
