About this role
Skillforce is hiring Commercial Painters for a 2-week project in Olive Branch, MS. The ideal Commercial Painter candidate must have at least 5 years of experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting and is comfortable with local travel.
Commercial Carpenter Pay:
- Up to $26.00 per hour, based on your experience
- W-2 employment with weekly pay by direct deposit
Commercial Painter Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare surfaces for blasting and painting
- Remove contaminants and properly mask areas not being treated
- Operate sandblasting equipment with the appropriate blasting media
- Apply industrial coatings using sprayers, brushes, and rollers
- Maintain equipment to ensure effective performance and quality results
- Ensure proper coating thickness, finish consistency, and coverage
- Inspect completed work for quality and perform touch-ups as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE
Commercial Painter Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting preferred
- Sandblasting experience a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Must provide personal hand tools and required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, and a safety vest.
