Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with a recognized Western qualification to join its specialist cardiology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care and manage a broad range of cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist/consultant-level cardiology services.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and other cardiac investigations as appropriate.
- Manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide appropriate inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cardiac care.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical governance, teaching, research, and quality-improvement activities.
- MBBS / MD or equivalent medical degree.
- Recognized Western Board / Fellowship qualification in Cardiology.
- Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
- Current specialist registration and good professional standing.
- Experience in a tertiary-care or teaching hospital is preferred.
- Eligible for DOH/DHA medical licensing, depending on the location.
- Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
