About this role
About our group:
Contamination control engineering aims to ensure there is sufficient level of cleanliness in a controlled environment. We are involved with certain strategic planning and management of equipment systems and processes to ensure integrity of cleanroom is maintained and mitigate potential excursions.
About the role - you will:
- Support contamination control activities in cleanroom manufacturing environments.
- Conduct cleanroom audits and monitor contamination metrics (particle, TOC, CTQ).
- Investigate contamination-related defects and yield issues through data collection and root cause analysis.
- Drive contamination reduction and process improvement projects.
- Provide technical support for substrate processes, including kitting, packaging, reclaim operations, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot process issues affecting quality, yield, and stability.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, cleanroom standards, and safety requirements.
- Support training and guide technicians/operators on contamination control best practices.
About you:
- Diploma / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor, HDD, electronics, or cleanroom manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience in contamination control, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing operations.
- Familiar with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, or Fishbone.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Your experience includes:
- Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization.
