Positions:

Science Saturday Camp

Growingspaces Program

    Growingspaces Assistant – Intermediate (Level II) – $12.50/hour – Not Currently Hiring

    Growingspaces Assistant – Advanced (Level III) – $13.50/hour – Not Currently Hiring


Teaching Assistants

    Science Division Teaching Assistant – Intermediate (Level II) – $12.50/hour –  Currently Accepting Applications

- Requires completion of the 100 and/or 200 level course(s) for which they are assigned.

    Science Division Teaching Assistant – Advanced (Level III) – $13.50/hour – No longer accepting applications

-Responsible for having exceptional knowledge of the theory, application and practice of concepts taught within the 100, 200 and 300 level course(s) for which they are assigned.

About the Meldrum Science Center

The Meldrum Science Center is a vibrant hub of scientific learning, research, and outreach at Westminster University. Our student employees are essential to daily operations, helping facilitate everything from lab research and teaching support to environmental stewardship and public engagement.


General Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled student in good academic standing

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Dependable, self-directed, and team-oriented

• Specific positions may require prior coursework, lab experience, or an interest in sustainability or STEM outreach


Job Details:

• Schedule: 6–10 hours/week (varies by role; some event-based roles are one-day commitments)

• Compensation: Based on Student Employee Levels I–III

• Eligibility: Open to both work-study and non-work-study students

• Training: Provided for all roles
