The Role: Executive Assistant
Schneider Electric is looking for an Executive Assistant in Taiwan. In this role, you will provide day-to-day executive, administrative, and coordination support to the Taiwan Country President. You will also help support internal communications by working closely with the Marcom team and colleagues in Taiwan and across the region.
This role is a good fit for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing different priorities with good judgment. You will collaborate with teams across the organization and gain exposure to business operations and internal communications.
What will you do?
Executive and Administrative Support (70%)
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Taiwan Country President.
- Manage calendars, meetings, priorities, and domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Coordinate expenses, purchase orders, invoices, executive visits, leadership meetings, and events.
- Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, and meeting materials, and track follow-up actions.
- Work with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and visitors, while handling confidential information with care and discretion.
- Identify administrative needs, help resolve issues, and use AI and digital tools to improve efficiency.
- Support other ad hoc assignments from the Taiwan Country President and other designated managers, as business needs arise.
Internal Communications Support (30%)
- Help coordinate Taiwan’s internal communications activities in line with local, regional, and global priorities.
- Help adapt regional and global messages for local employees and prepare content for internal communication channels.
- Create and deliver engaging content across internal communication platforms, such as newsletters, the intranet, and social platforms, to improve reach and effectiveness.
- Help coordinate town halls, employee engagement activities, and other internal communication initiatives with Marcom, HR, and regional teams.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in executive support, administration, coordination, or communications. Internship or early-career experience may be considered.
- Proactive, organized, and dependable, with good judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and interested in using AI and digital tools to improve efficiency.
- Able to provide occasional support outside regular working hours for important business needs or special events.
