Our Client
Our client, an energy/power distribution company, seeks to employ a Technical Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on electricity market, regulatory, and policy issues.
- Prepare executive briefs, presentations, reports, and board papers.
- Track strategic projects and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements and high-level meetings.
- Support regulatory policy reviews and implementation initiatives.
- Develop performance monitoring dashboards and executive reports.
- Represent the CEO in technical meetings where required.
- Monitor industry developments and emerging regulatory trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Energy Policy, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Energy Economics, Policy, Regulation, or an MBA (preferred).
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in the electricity sector, regulatory affairs, policy development, or market operations.
- Strong understanding of electricity market design, tariff setting methodologies, and power procurement mechanisms.
- Experience working with government agencies, regulatory bodies, or multilateral energy organizations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, economic modeling, and policy impact assessment.
