Our Client
Our client, a high-end luxury company, seeks to employ an Inventory Control Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily stock movements (sales, transfers, returns) in the ERP system.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in real-time.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits across branches.
  • Manage the documentation for inter-branch transfers to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure system data matches physical stock through rigorous reconciliation.
  • Generate discrepancy reports for management review.
  • Monitor expiry dates or slow-moving stock and flag them to the buying team.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end inventory closing processes.
  • Ensure all stock rooms are organized and follow labeling standards.
  • Train branch staff on proper stock handling and documentation procedures.


Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years in stock-taking or inventory control.
  • Industry Background: Retail, FMCG, or Auditing firms. 
  • High numerical accuracy and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP systems.
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Effective communication for reporting.
