Our Client
Our client, a high-end luxury company, seeks to employ an Inventory Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales data to forecast demand and identify buying patterns per brand.
  • Track slow-moving and obsolete stock, making recommendations for clearance or inter-branch transfer.
  • Monitor shrinkage trends (theft, damage, admin errors) and support loss prevention efforts.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for senior management.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
  • Analyze the performance of new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with the buying team on purchase order quantities based on data.
  • Support the finance team with inventory valuation and cost analysis.
  • Develop dashboards for real-time visibility of stock health.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business cases for promotions.


Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years in data analysis within a retail environment.
  • Industry Background: Retail Analytics, FMCG, Supply Chain, or Financial Services (Data roles).
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling.
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
  • ERP/MRP software proficiency (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Data visualization (Power BI or Tableau is a plus).
