Right at Home Boston and Maine’s Scarborough office is immediately hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers, Personal Support Specialists and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide in-home care to clients in Scarborough and surrounding communities.
This position is ideal for caregivers seeking daytime work with shorter shift blocks and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and individuals who need support at home.
Position Details
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
- Daytime shifts available
- Short-hour shift blocks
- Part-time and additional-hour opportunities
- Immediate openings
- In-home client assignments
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when assigned
- Follow the client’s care plan and document services provided
- Report changes in the client’s condition to the office
Qualifications
- Current PSS or CNA credential or relevant caregiving experience
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
- Ability to complete all required background checks, health documentation, and training
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
