About this role
The Machine Operator II will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL.
Responsibilities
- Will be required to operate/monitor a PLC.
- Will be required to use a Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to adjust material requirements information.
- Will be required to manually load materials from floor and part bins.
- Will be required to orient tanks.
- Will be required to perform other assembly tasks as needed.
- Will be required to perform change over and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Will be required to make minor adjustments, set ups and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment.
- Will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Will be required to maintain quality standards established for the process in accordance to specifications.
- Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions.
- Must maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Must observe all departmental safety requirements.
- May be exposed to high noise levels, fumes and airborne particles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
- Frequent lifting of 25-60lbs.
- Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
- Continuous standing, bending, walking and repetitive lifting.
