About this role

We are looking for an energetic, hard-working Flexo Press Support to join our fast-paced printing team. In this role, you will work directly alongside experienced Press Operators on high-speed, multi-color flexo presses producing both shrink sleeves and pressure-sensitive labels.

This is an active, on-your-feet position that requires speed, urgency, and attention to detail. No prior printing experience is required, we provide full hands-on training for reliable team members who want to build a career in a skilled manufacturing trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mount photopolymer plates accurately using mounting equipment; stage plates, sleeves, cylinders, and dies to keep press changeovers moving quickly.
  • Help load, unload, and maneuver large substrate rolls (film and paper); assist with roll splices to minimize press downtime.
  • Fill, monitor, and maintain ink pans and pumps across up to 10 stations; perform fast ink and station washups during job change overs.
  • Keep up with the pace of production by retrieving tools, pulling sample strips for operator review, and assisting with continuous running adjustments as directed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work deck, sweep shop floors, clean plates/tooling after runs, and assist with routine press maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related manufacturing experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience required; prior printing or packaging experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret rulers, tape measures, scales, and other precision measuring devices. Strong basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety rules, operating guidelines, and procedure manuals.
  • This is an active, fast-paced shop floor role that requires a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and continuous movement. Desk or seated work is minimal.
  • Constantly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and move quickly around large press machinery for the entire shift.
  • Regularly required to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs unassisted, and heavier materials with mechanical assistance.
  • Strong vision abilities required, including close vision, accurate color perception (for ink and color matching), depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
