Build the customer experience behind every successful project.

EMPLOYMENT Full-Time |
SCHEDULE Monday-Friday |
WORK LOCATION In Person |
Re-Bath of Southeast Michigan is seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Coordinator to help manage the customer journey from signed contract through installation and project completion. This is a visible, high-impact role for someone who thrives on communication, accountability, and keeping multiple moving parts aligned.
This is not simply an administrative position. The Project Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination between our customers and our internal teams, helping ensure that projects remain organized, communication stays consistent, and important details are addressed before they become problems.
You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Production, Installation, Customer Service, and leadership to maintain visibility into active projects and help move each one toward successful completion.
What You'll Own
At the heart of this position is project visibility and follow-through. You will maintain and review customer project files, track key milestones, confirm that required documentation and information are complete, and provide accurate status updates throughout the life of the project.
When information is missing, you will help obtain it. When a project is approaching an important milestone, you will help ensure the team is prepared. When a customer has a status question, you will help provide a clear and professional response.
You will also play an important role internally by keeping departments aligned. That means communicating project changes, outstanding items, customer concerns, scheduling considerations, and potential delays to the appropriate team members so issues can be addressed early.
|
Our customers should know what is happening with their project, and our team should know what needs to happen next. |
The Role
A typical day may include reviewing active customer files, following up on missing documentation, updating project statuses in our systems, communicating with customers regarding next steps, and coordinating with internal teams regarding upcoming installations or outstanding project requirements.
You may be working with a customer awaiting an installation update in one moment and coordinating with Operations or Production on a project requirement the next. Success requires someone who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a professional customer experience.
Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who recognizes when something does not look right and takes the initiative to investigate it. We do not want someone who simply records that a project is delayed; we want someone who asks what is holding it up, who needs to be involved, and what can be done to move it forward.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is highly organized, naturally curious, and comfortable communicating with both customers and coworkers. You enjoy creating order, tracking details, solving problems, and closing open loops. You are comfortable following up when information is needed and understand that strong communication is one of the most important parts of delivering an excellent customer experience.
Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, operations, construction, remodeling, or another project-based environment is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You should also be comfortable working within CRM, project management, and business software systems and have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Experience in residential remodeling, construction, home improvement, or another installation-based business is a strong advantage, but we are equally interested in individuals who demonstrate exceptional organization, professionalism, ownership, and judgment.
What Success Looks Like
Success means having command of your projects. Customer files are complete and current. Important milestones are being tracked. Customers receive timely communication. Internal teams understand project status and outstanding requirements. Potential issues are identified early rather than after they become emergencies.
Most importantly, customers feel that someone is paying attention to their project. The strongest Project Coordinators develop a reputation internally as the person who knows where things stand, closes communication gaps, and helps determine what needs to happen next.
Who Will Excel Here
You will likely thrive in this position if you take pride in being organized and dependable. You notice details other people miss, follow through when you say you will do something, and are comfortable communicating with customers professionally even when the answer requires research or coordination.
You do not assume someone else is handling an issue. You enjoy working across departments and understand how strong teamwork contributes to the customer experience. And when priorities change - as they sometimes do in a fast-moving remodeling business - you can adjust, communicate, and keep moving forward.
