About the Opportunity:
The Senior KPO Technician will focus primarily on hands on shop floor Kaizen activities, performs a variety of Continuous Improvement tasks in support of the Kaizen Promotion Office. Aides in creating a safe, efficient, and effective Lean operation.
Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests
- Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department
- Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles
- Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents
- Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials
- Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items
- Participates in and supports Kaizen Event

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years in continuous improvement related experience
- 2-4 years in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
