We are looking for a communications professional to drive P&G's Corporate Communications agenda in Spain, showcasing the best of P&G internally and externally.
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening the company's reputation through compelling content, corporate programmes, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
You will lead issues and crisis prevention and management efforts, while advancing public affairs, innovation, sustainability, social impact, and scientific communications priorities. The role requires close collaboration with multifunctional teams and external partners, together with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, credible, and impactful narratives.
Role Responsibilities:
Build P&G's Business and Reputation
- Strengthen P&G's reputation through compelling content and narratives across business, innovation, science, sustainability, and societal impact.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reputation and business impact, providing insight-driven recommendations shaped by the external landscape.
- Provide communications expertise to joint business plans with Spanish retailers, supporting innovation, reputation, and sustainability priorities.
- Partner with multifunctional teams on corporate reporting, reputation priorities, and key business topics to drive effective execution.
Issues & Crisis Prevention and Management
- Lead local issues and crisis preparedness and management, assessing emerging risks and coordinating effective responses to protect business and reputation.
- Monitor emerging narratives and misinformation, developing clear, evidence-based responses in partnership with internal experts.
Shape the External Environment
- Lead and support Public Affairs and advocacy priorities.
- Strengthen alignment between Communications and Public Affairs to maximise impact.
- Advance innovation, citizenship, and trust priorities through strategic stakeholder engagement and industry partnerships.
- Help shape conversations on societal topics relevant to P&G and its reputation.
- Lead scientific communications, including media and customer enquiries, ensuring clear and consistent responses.
- Develop evidence-based communications that support innovation and business priorities.
Build Strategic Partnerships
- Manage relationships with sustainability stakeholders, including NGOs, academic institutions, industry groups, and other external partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with consumer associations to strengthen trust in P&G and its brands.
- Partner with European teams across Product Stewardship, Issues & Crisis Management, and Scientific Communications.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience leading projects and initiatives from strategy through execution, delivering measurable business impact.
- University degree in a relevant field. A background in science, engineering, communications, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Experience in communications, preferably within a multinational and multifunctional environment, including the ability to translate complex business, scientific, or technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results.
- Curiosity about communications, science, innovation, and emerging societal topics, combined with an evidence-based approach to reputation building.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
