About this role
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. You play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas to hotel standards.

Replace linens and towels, make beds, and restock room supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and beverages.

Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, clean windows, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitary.

Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and dispose of them properly.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.

Follow health and safety regulations and infection control policies.

Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.

Use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and in accordance with training and safety standards.

Ensure daily assigned room quotas are completed efficiently and thoroughly.

Maintain equipment and housekeeping carts in clean and good working condition.
Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Required to wear a uniform and follow grooming standards

Flexible and long hours sometimes required

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
