Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support the Product Data Systems Support (PDSS) program located at Robins Air Force Base.
Location: Robins AFB, GA
Role & Responsibilities:
The Deputy Program Manager supports the Program Manager in the effective execution and oversight of program activities, personnel, subcontractors, deliverables, and performance requirements. This person works closely with government stakeholders, Peraton leadership, and a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts to ensure program objectives, contractual requirements, and service level commitments are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate excels in communications, collaboration, critical attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast, paced operational and leadership environment.
Additionally, the Deputy Program Manager will:
- Provide program management support including administrative oversight, timekeeping compliance, financial tracking, cost projections, inventory management, and personnel evaluations.
- Oversees achievement of operational service level objectives and performance metrics, including effective management of subcontractor performance.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other program deliverables.
- Support workforce planning, personnel development, onboarding, and performance management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program personnel, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Assist in identifying and resolving program risks, issues, and resource constraints to maintain schedule and performance objectives.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and technical documentation.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant professional experience, or 15 years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated leadership or management experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated experience in financial and procurement management, human resources, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial program performance, including rate calculations, variance reporting, forecasting, and estimate to complete.
- Experience performing performance monitoring of contracts; including establishing and reporting on contractual service level agreements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, exceptional professional attitude, and collaborative management style.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- The ability to obtain/maintain a DoD level Secret security clearance.
- The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a hybrid on-site/remote work team.
- PLM systems experience.
- Active DoD level Secret security clearance.
- Recent DoD CAC (within the past two years).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.EEO
