Senior FA Accountant

 

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and posting Fixed Assets transactions, including capitalizations, disposals, transfers, depreciation, impairments, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Executing month-end closing activities, including Fixed Assets register reconciliations, depreciation runs, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, tax requirements, and internal accounting policies.
  • Monitoring and resolving Fixed Assets-related discrepancies and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Supporting the achievement of KPIs by ensuring high-quality accounting, timely month-end close, accurate reconciliations, and effective internal controls.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for Fixed Assets accounting, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Supporting onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Performing and reviewing Fixed Assets and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and resolving audit findings.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and drive automation initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with finance teams and business stakeholders across the organization.
  • Participating in finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Supporting the Team Lead with operational activities, analyses, and decision-making.

 

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting or a similar Record-to-Report (RTR) role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations related to Fixed Assets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems; SAP knowledge will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
