PCA is seeking resumes for a Storeroom Supervisor at our Tomahawk, WI Mill.
Storeroom Supervisor
- Front-line contact for hourly personnel training, policy compliance, safety issues, etc.
- Process additions & deletions to storeroom inventory
- Prepare requisitions, requests for quotation & purchase orders for storeroom & miscellaneous items
- Perform storeroom suggested reorder procedure to replenish storeroom inventory
- Communicate & resolve discrepancies with suppliers, including resolution of receiving issues such as overages, shortages, wrong parts, damaged freight, etc.
- Ensure annual total inventory audit is performed
- Coordinate shipment of materials including appropriate vendor contact, completion of Miscellaneous Shipping Authority, necessary follow-up, hazardous materials requirements, etc.
- Identify surplus assets & obsolete stores and contact vendors & surplus outlets for disposition
- Oversee direct charge material is properly disbursed in a timely manner
- Ensure storeroom is functioning within internal controls, and all policies & procedures are in place
- Provide other department support as required
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
This position is on-site at the Tomahawk, WI mill and is not remote or hybrid
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree
3-5 years manufacturing experience
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Must be detail-oriented
Mechanical aptitude for understanding spare parts
Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints
Possess a broad understanding of the process flow, including purchasing, receiving, accounts payable, storeroom disbursements, work orders, equipment bill of material, etc.
Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills
Capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving
Ability to work with ambiguity and change
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary range for position: $78,000.00 - $98,000.00
- Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation durin
- Paid Holidays.
- Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
- Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
