About this role

As a Certified Surgical Technician at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

  • An essential part of our Operating Room team, ensuring the smooth flow of each surgical procedure
  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and set up properly
  • Work closely with the surgeon and registered nurse to anticipate needs and support surgical procedures
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control standards
  • Understand the surgical procedures being performed and assist with tasks as needed
  • Help maintain and monitor the sterile field, ensuring the safety of every patient
  • Assist in turnover and restocking of OR following procedures

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in orthopedic surgery
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification required; hospital experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, tools, and sterile field management
  • Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team
