Job Summary:

The Assistant School Director supports the day-to-day educational and operational functions of the school, helping ensure a positive environment for students and team members while maintaining Ogle School’s mission, operational expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role partners with campus leadership to support student success, team performance, and overall school results.


A Day in the Life:

  • Integrate Ogle School’s Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Teamwork in all aspects of interaction.
  • Support school performance goals related student retention, attendance, graduation, licensure, graduate employment, guest services, staffing, and other key operational measures.
  • Ensure the school facility is conducive to fostering an effective environment for education, as measured by student and co-worker attendance, graduation, graduate employment, high student satisfaction, implementation of prescribed curriculum and state licensing success rate.
  • Actively participate in the recruiting and hiring process of co-workers to ensure the standards of the Company are maintained.
  • Mentor, assess and affect the performance of instructional and support staff to ensure the quality of the school facility's overall operational performance.
  • Oversee and monitor the timely, accurate inventory and ordering of dispensary and retail supplies to support the educational and operational processes of the school facility.
  • Facilitate the admission process in a manner consistent with the direction from the Vice President of Admissions.
  • Support Company growth through constructive interaction, personal attendance and staff attendance at meetings, events, and other related functions.
  • Maintain integrity of all academic policies and regulations; interpreting the same to students, faculty, staff, and external customers.
  • Adhere to all statutes and regulations from Federal, State, and Accrediting Body.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Active Master Cosmetology or Esthetics license and an instructor license in accordance with Georgia requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in school operations, education, student services, or a related environment.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members, manager performance, and hold others accountable.
  • Experience supporting operational goals and using performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.
  • Ability to interpret and consistently apply organizational policies, academic requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.


Additional Skills or Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate procedures, policies, and other information written or verbally
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, students, staff, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

  • 3 years of relevant experience or education equivalent
  • Knowledge and proficient in the following:
  • Ability to utilize computer hardware and software, such as Anthology
  • Windows 10 operating system or higher
  • Microsoft Office 2016 or higher suite
  • Outlook
  • PowerPoint
  • Excel
  • Microsoft Office 365 cloud services like SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
  • E-signature platforms like SignNow
  • Virtual presence platforms such as Zoom


Physical Requirements 

  • Sitting, occasionally lift at least 20+ pounds overhead
