About this role

Responsibilities

New Supplier Identification & Sourcing            
-Support global cluster strategies by identifying and engaging new suppliers that align with business needs in the region (eg: cost efficiency, supply chain risk mitigation, and sustainability).
-Conduct market research to identify potential supplier opportunities in the region.
-Proactively pre-assess supplier capabilities to ensure they meet strategic requirements for upcoming projects.                                 
-Supplier Evaluation, Risk Management & Onboarding.        
-Support SQM to conduct thorough supplier evaluations, including. 
-Supplier questionnaire ,feasibility commitment, VDA 6.3 audits, CQI according customer requirements.
                                
Market Analysis:            
-Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements that could impact the business.
-Leverage this knowledge to shape and enhance supplier development strategies.                                    
                            
Negotiation and Contract Management             
-Negotiate general terms and conditions (T&Cs), general quality agreements, and other supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms that support both parties' interests.
-Monitor contract compliance and proactively address any issues, escalating when necessary.
                                
Sustainability & Compliance            
-Ensure all new suppliers comply with BPCOC,  responsible value chain(RVC) requirements ,quality, safety, and industry-specific standards, such as customer-specific requirements (CSR), and environmental regulations such as EcoVadis, through due diligence.
-Prioritize suppliers that demonstrate strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, aligning with our sustainability goals.
-Enforce compliance with responsible sourcing practices.        
                            
Innovation & Partnership with AE ,R&D            
-Build strong, collaborative relationships with new and development suppliers to foster innovation and align their capabilities with the company’s AE and R&D teams.
-Lead workshops with AE, R&D, and suppliers to drive innovation and enhance competitiveness.

-Understand the importance of technical compliance and ensure the adherence thereof in daily business.

Process Owner (mandatory if applicable)            
-Creates, maintains, directs and improves the process and designates its interactions with other processes.
-Ensures the customer satisfaction for all generated outputs.
-Agrees process objectives and introduces appropriate metrics, measurement, measurement tools.
-Informs, motivates and, if necessary, trains process employees (turning those affected into participants).
-Ensures a process adherence among all process employees.        
                        
Process Member (mandatory)            
-Is team member according to the process landscape and all defined rules for processes. 
-Is responsible to receive proper training to execute all activities of own responsibility by the process owner or department head.
-Ensures the efficient process execution.
-Ensures in the process customer satisfaction for outputs within own responsibility.
-Supports actively the efficiency of the processes.        

Qualifications

-Academic degree (Ph. D./Diploma/Master) in technical field or minimum 3 years experience in Quality, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering ,Purchasing.                                            
-5 years+ of professional experience in Automotive (R&D/Quality/Process Development) with international background, preferred advanced knowledge about supplier processes.                                    
-Familiar with Auditor in Automotive Industry with IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 certificate.                                  
-Experienced in working successfully on an international level.
