About the Role:
Nuance Dental Studio, PLLC is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Front Desk professional to be the welcoming face of our practice in the heart of New York, NY. Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front office experience
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and process claims and authorizations
- Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and manage billing inquiries
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and manage voicemails promptly
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Requirements:
- Prior dental front desk or dental administrative experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Professional, patient-centered demeanor with a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
