About this role

Do you have Level 4 qualifications in Food Safety and Health & Safety, along with experience conducting audits or inspections?

 

At NSF, we’re looking for a Senior Food Service Auditor based in the North of England or Scotland. You’ll primarily conduct food safety and health and safety audits at restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and other food service locations within your local area, while also supporting the training and development of other auditors, completing quality monitoring activities and helping ensure our standards are applied consistently.

 

We’re flexible on where you’re based, provided you live in the North of England or Scotland.

Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Conduct food safety and health and safety audits at client sites

  • Train and coach client teams while on-site

  • Write up audit findings and share the results with client managers

  • Collect samples and arrange for them to be sent to laboratories

  • Plan your audits to meet deadlines

  • Conduct monitoring and quality visits

  • Train, coach and support new and existing auditors

  • Complete desktop reviews and provide constructive feedback

  • Help ensure NSF and client standards are applied consistently

  • Keep in touch with audit teams, managers and client contacts

  • Support audit scheduling and identify any gaps in auditor availability

  • Jump in on other tasks when needed

Qualifications

  • Level 4 qualifications in Food Safety and Health & Safety
  • Experience conducting food safety and health and safety audits or inspections
  • Auditor qualifications aligned with ISO 19011
  • Able to plan and carry out audits independently
  • Experience training, coaching or developing others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident writing clear and accurate reports
  • Able to handle sensitive conversations professionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have a full UK driving licence
  • Ready and willing to travel to client sites
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and PDF software
